Editing user roles
QTDMP is configured with default roles. To create a custom role, see Creating a custom role.

To assign a new role
- In the left side navigation panel, click Settings, expand Access control and select Entra Users.
- In the list of users, locate the user you want to edit in the User Name column.
- On the right side of the Role field for the user, click the edit icon to make the Role field editable.
- Click inside the editable Role field and begin typing the name of the role you want to add. An auto-complete list offers suggestions based on your input.
- Enter the role name you want to add. An auto-complete list offers suggestions based on your input.
- Select the role from the list.
- Add additional roles or remove assigned roles as required.
- Select the check mark to confirm the role assignment.
To remove a new role
- In the left side navigation panel, click Settings, expand Access control and select Entra Users.
- In the list of users, locate the user you want to edit in the User Name column.
- On the right side of the Role field for the user, click the edit icon to make the Role field editable.
- Click inside the editable Role field and begin typing the name of the role you want to add. An auto-complete list offers suggestions based on your input.
- Click the X next to the role to remove it.
- Click the checkmark to confirm.
